For projects where the water is too deep for divers, we
provide fully equipped remotely operated vehicles. Depth is not the
only consideration for using an ROV; many times they are safer and more
practical. These vehicles are stable platforms for video work, they
don't get tired, there is no risk to human life, strong currents and long
distances from the support ship are rarely a problem, and they don't have
decompression limits.

Openframe Super SeaRover with TSS340
|
We have several types of ROVs. And we manufacture a complete
range of tooling for all ROV's according to project requirements.
One of the most versatile is a model from Benthos Inc USA is called the
Open Frame Super SeaROVER. This is a light duty work class vehicle.
The SeaROVER operates to a depth of up to 500 meters and can be configured
for deeper operations. Our systems are completely containerised with
their own deployment systems. The options installed are a Mesotech
900 series 256 colour sonar, CP probe, manipulator, high resolution colour
camera and low light black and white camera, and hydraulic tools.
A full specification sheet is available on request. CABACO has deployed
these systems with a full suite of pipeline inspection equipment comprised
of TSS 340 pipetracker, Simrad HPR, Tritech profiler and camera booms. |

| When working in a live boat or DP situation, CABACO
can provide a variety of launch and recovery configurations depending on
the vessel of opportunity. CABACO has mobilized world wide
by airfreight for emergency recovery of lost equipment in deep water.
We have the capability to recover this equipment in over 1000 meters of
water and if needed even deeper. The systems are light weight with
heavy weight performance so shipping costs are kept low. |
